Fallout 3 on MacBook Pro: Super-Duper Mart

This is a video intended for anyone like me who was curious how Fallout would run on a newer model unibody MacBook Pro. I normally play Fallout on X360, but now I’m happy with the alternative. The framerate here for the video kinda averaged out around 20fps, but I chalk that up to fraps running in the background and recording at high quality, all on the stock 5400 rpm HD – when not recording with fraps I had a steady framerate around 32fps. My specs and settings are below. I’ll probably post more videos in the future, showing content in different areas for comparison. Watch it in HQ, but seriously, it looks so much better than this video. Youtube’s compression sucks. Late-2008 unibody MacBook Pro 2.4ghz Core 2 Duo, 2gb ram, 9600M GT, 240gb 5400 rpm configuration stock Windows XP under Boot Camp with SP3, Boot Camp drivers from Snow Leopard build 10A380 The game is running patch 1.5, settings on High, AA 4x, AF 8x, HDR on, 960×600.
